question by presenting a new Batman in the form of Terry McGinnis, a teen with a troubled past, who is mentored and handled by an aged Bruce Wayne, who is no longer physically up to the rigors of caped crime fighting. Interestingly, the teenage Batman in this series comes off as an amalgam of both Batman and Robin. Like the previous series, Batman Beyond similarly high quality writing that will appeal both to adult and younger viewers. Bottom line: If you enjoyed Batman: The Animated Series, then Batman Beyond is a worthy successor.
